The anime film “The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes,” (Natsu e no Tunnel, Sayonara no Deguchi ou 夏へのトンネル、さよならの出口 )directed by Tomohisa Taguchi from CLAP studio, won the Paul Grimault Award at this year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival. The story follows Kaoru Tohno and Anzu Hanashiro as they investigate the mysterious Urashima Tunnel, where one can obtain anything at a price. Additionally, other Japanese anime like “Chainsaw Man” and “Oni: Thunder God’s Tale” competed in different categories at the festival. The Annecy edition this year took place from June 11-17 in the French city of the same name, and the festival is recognized as the oldest and largest of its kind.

This Thursday, January 19, at 7:30 pm, the children’s channel Box Kids TV premiered “Nina and the Guardians”, a production by Noches Produções studio and distributed by Elo Studios.

With the mission of educating and instructing about the Brazilian fauna and flora, the national production tells the story of Nina – played by actress Larissa Manoela -, a six-year-old girl who lives in a forest reserve with her parents, Guarda Chico and Doctor Anna. One day, the girl gets a magic necklace, which allows her to see and talk to the animals and the Guardians of Nature, – protectors of the elements that govern the forest – helping them to protect the fauna, flora and people who live with her.

Nina is committed to the environment and always willing to help others, so it was a pleasure to give this very special girl a voice. I hope that Nina and the Guardians can raise awareness in a very pure and true way about what we really we need to do for the environment”, says Larissa Manoela.

The animation has 26 episodes of 12 minutes each, and was directed by Carlos Vizeu, director of Noches Produções. It features songs composed by Walter Ribeiro, with arrangements by Eugen Jr Guinho from Canal1 Studios.

Nina e os Guardianes can be watched daily on the Box Kids TV channel (Vivo Fibra-IPTV: channels 561 and 61 HD / Vivo DTH1: 323 and 833 HD / Vivo DTH2: channel 30) or through the BoxBrazil Play app available for iOS and Android.

Carlos Vizeu, director of Noches Produções, received a Motion of Applause in the City Council of São Gonçalo due to his professionalism as Animator and Director, and his 12-year career.

The Motion was delivered directly by the mayor of São Gonçalo, councilor Lecinho (MDB), at the opening of the Exhibition “Vem Sentir Van Gogh” together with other talented artists from the Industry.

 

After being successful on the screens of Nat Geo Kids, the series Nina e os Guardiões, written by artist Carlos Vizeu, and produced by Noches Production, premiered on the largest streaming platform in the world, Amazon Prime Video.

On October 29, 2021, the series Nina and the Guardians premiered on the Amazon Prime Video platform.
